Today we cut the first roll of burlap in preparation for sewing. It’s now lurking in the corner of my studio…
Also amassed supplies needed for the sewing machine: bobbins, needles, and ONE POUND of thread. Wow.

Got the grommet machine and a ton of grommets today. Also did on test with the grommets in the burlap and tested the burlap to failure. This stuff should work just fine. FYI – burlap will be used to cover the entire structure and needs grommets to secure it into place.
